This notice explains how information submitted through Pitrupaksha.org is handled. Please share only information you are authorised and comfortable to provide.

Information we collect

The enquiry forms may collect your name, WhatsApp or telephone number, email address if supplied, preferred rite, sacred site, proposed date, family size, ancestor details you choose to share and your message. Basic technical records may also be created by the website host and anti-spam controls, such as an IP address, browser information, time of submission and security result.

How we use it

We use this information to understand your request, contact you personally, check possible arrangements, prevent spam or abuse and maintain an operational enquiry record. Submitting information does not create a booking or payment obligation.

Who may receive it

Access is limited to authorised coordinators and the hosting, form-notification or security providers needed to operate the enquiry channel. Ceremonial details are shared with a proposed pandit only when coordination requires them. We do not sell enquiry information.

Analytics and advertising

Optional analytics is disabled. The enquiry pages do not intentionally load advertising pixels. Essential WordPress, security or anti-spam storage may still be used to operate and protect the forms.

Storage, security and retention

Enquiry records are stored in the website system and may also appear in authorised operational notifications. Reasonable access controls and security safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Records are retained while they are operationally needed, to resolve a request or meet an applicable obligation, and may then be deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

You may ask for access, correction or deletion of information linked to your enquiry. Some information may need to be retained where an applicable obligation or an unresolved request requires it. Email prakharporwal.inc@gmail.com with enough detail for the team to identify the record safely.

Service providers and location

Website and communication providers may process information on infrastructure located in India or other countries. Their own technical and legal safeguards may apply. Contact us before submitting sensitive details if you would prefer to discuss another communication channel.
